Wonderful management. My family stays here yearly for a fishing trip. They are a bit of a drive outside of the main part of Rockport but still close enough to be convenient. Management has always been flexible and helpful.
This is an RV park with some cabins, I was visiting a friend who spent 3-4 months there. All the amenities were great and the people running it always had something going on for all to have fun, they accepted me into all the activities even though I wasn't staying there. Great time, definitely will recommend to all my traveling friends.
The location is perfect. I have had my RV there for several years now. Prices have gone up quite a bit, so not sure I can continue staying there. Which is unfortunate. Family have stayed in the cabins. Great memories. I would like to do a shout out to Joe. He cares and goes above and beyond to take care of the park and customers. I truly appreciate it.
My family of 6 stayed in cottage 21 for a weekend. Everything is perfectly clean and organized and there was the perfect amount of room and towels for everyone. The front desk clerk, the housekeeper we spoke to and even the other guests were all so friendly. The pool was also very clean and a reasonable size. We visit Rockport at least 3 times a year and this will be our go to.
Stayed here in a cabana as part of a wedding party and had such a great time! The cottages were cute, clean, and comfortable; and the grounds were beautiful, well-kept and quiet. The pool is great, and there's also both a laundry and a fitness center. Close to great dining, and shopping in the area. Definitely recommend!!
Such a lovely place to stay at for a short & long term stay! My boyfriend and I stayed for memorial weekend and we had a wonderful experience. Very clean restrooms, laundry room & overall nice place. Very quiet, calm and laid back. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Such a great experience and will definitely recommend to friends and family. The only issue that we did have was the mosquitos (not at all Drifters Resort’s fault, but definitely worth mentioning)! There was a plethora of mosquitoes and I got bit quite a lot. Definitely would recommend getting OFF or some type of mosquito repellent. But other than that, I had a wonderful stay! (:
We actually stayed in the cabin shown here. They have very basic cabin or bungalows about 10 mins to the beach. These are so much better to stay in than a hotel room and a lot cheaper than renting a condo. We had a cabin with 2 beds and a pull out couch. You have a decent place nestled in an RV park, almost like camping, but you're in a cabin with A/C, TV, etc. They also have a pool. There is a burger place next to them (we didn't eat there but smelled great). The staff is wonderful! Very helpful.
Great location, very nice people, large sites and old school personally. Nothing bad to say about this park. Nice setting with concrete pads. Central, close to Corpus, Rockport, Port A and a selection of grocery stores/restaurants. Very active activities agenda, heated pool, twice weekly propane delivery and great gym with newer/working equipment.
